Kompa is an AI-powered tour guide application that provides personalized walking tours and location-based content. Our service includes:

3. Waitlist Registration

By joining our waitlist, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your name and email address. You consent to receiving communications from us regarding product updates, launch announcements, and related information. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time.

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account and password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

6. AI-Generated Content

Kompa uses artificial intelligence to generate tour content, narratives, and recommendations. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only
  • While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated information may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
  • You should verify critical information (such as opening hours, safety warnings, or accessibility information) through official sources
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
  • Historical facts, cultural information, and local details provided by Kompa should be treated as general guidance rather than authoritative sources

7. Location Services and Safety

Kompa uses GPS and location services to provide tour guidance. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for your personal safety while using Kompa
  • You should always be aware of your surroundings and follow local laws and safety guidelines
  • Kompa is not a substitute for professional navigation devices or official maps
  • GPS accuracy may vary depending on your device, environment, and other factors
  • You should not rely solely on Kompa for navigation in unfamiliar or potentially dangerous areas
  • We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur while using our service

8. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Kompa and its licensors. Our service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use our name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names are owned by Kompa or its licensors.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that our service or servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KOMPA AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to use) the service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
  • Any content obtained from the service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
  • Any physical injury, property damage, or other harm resulting from your use of the service

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kompa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the service.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our principal place of business.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Kompa regarding your use of the service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous written or oral agreements between you and Kompa.
